Dr. Dianne Chisholm
Arctic Circlings features photographic meditations on "the Arctic" - what it is and what it is becoming - drawn from recent travels in Greenland, Iceland, northern Canada, northern Norway, and the Antarctic Peninsula. Dianne Chisholm will speak briefly to the politics and aesthetics of combining landscape photography and prose poetry to evoke critical environmental sensibilities, before proceeding to her slide show/poetry reading.
Dianne Chisholm is a Professor Emeritus of English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta.
