Tour de Bloc is a Canadian National bouldering competitive circuit. Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that doesn't use harnesses or ropes. Climbers climb to a height they are able to jump or climb down from, but that doesn't mean that the climbs are easy! Competitive boulder routes, called problems, range from easy to extremely difficult. To solve these problems climbers need to think carefully, then hang, pivot and jump to the top.
On this Edmonton stop of the Tour de Bloc circuit climbers from the local climbing community have the chance to compete against climbers from all over Canada.
